Home, Sweet Home

I'm back home from DC.

What an exciting trip. I got to see very little, but i did experience the Metro many times!! At the end of the trip, i did get to see a few neighborhoods that i didn't expect to see (Embassy Row... so cool!), but since that is a sore spot (we were going completely the wrong way!!), i won't say too much about that.

I had such a wonderful time. We spent about 10 hours a day in the booth... got to talk to SO many people. Everyone was very receptive and was quite taken with USA Cares. A lot of positive feedback, which was so nice. I got to walk around a few times... see all the gadgets and gizmos and all the amazing technology. So much of it was above my head, but wow... what a display!!!

We were next to a few booths with some really nice people that we talked with and joked with. It was fun and accomplishing.

I have so much to write about it, but right now i am so tired... but i will say just these few other things before signing off today... Steve Wilkos was such a normal guy... Dennis Miller is so humble and real... the people that make up USA Cares are amazing... USA Cares is an amazing organization... don't get up at 6:00 am, work all day, then drive 13 hours thru 3 states, mountains and fog and expect to feel normal!!!

more soon!

What Jenn isn't telling you is that she worked very hard and represented USA Cares in a very positive and professional way.

She also seems to never be down, never a frown and makes everybody around her feel better about the day.

You haven't talked to my kids!! They would beg to differ. *LOL*

Thanks so much for your kind words, Roger. I can't wait to post more and more about the wonderful things USA Cares has done and is doing!!

And hopefully, i will be right there to experience it first hand.
